AMPECO has introduced CoOperator, an AI-based operations tool designed to support electric vehicle (EV) charging network management. The system provides automated diagnostics, a conversational interface for querying network data, and the ability to execute operational changes across charging infrastructure.
EV charging networks are scaling across utilities, fleets, and commercial deployments, and this means operational complexity is increasing.
The new tool is intended to assist with monitoring and managing distributed charging assets, including identifying faults, analyzing charging sessions, and adjusting system configurations.
The platform includes automated diagnostic functions that evaluate charging sessions using data such as transaction records, tariff structures, and communication logs (e.g., OCPP and OCPI). It also analyzes authorization failures and detects hardware or connectivity issues, generating root cause assessments with supporting data and recommended actions.
A conversational interface allows operators to query system status, configurations, and performance using natural language. The system can also initiate operational changes, such as updating pricing, configuring validation parameters, or modifying charger settings, with user confirmation required prior to execution.
The architecture is designed to operate within existing charging network frameworks, with data isolation at the customer level and compatibility with standard protocols used in EV charging infrastructure.
The tool is currently available to platform users, with further development planned to expand automation capabilities and integration with external systems.
